Kuopio Art Weeks will be held for the first time in autumn 2026. The unique collaboration of four actors enables an almost two-month-long series of multidisciplinary art events that can be experienced in different parts of the city.
Digital Art Festival Kuopio 7–13 September is an interdisciplinary international art festival with an emphasis on digital art in its various forms. The digital art festival, which takes place in Kuopio's Toriparki, combines bold technology, diverse programming and an inclusive community. It offers experiences virtually and surprises visitors.
ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival 15–20 September celebrates the festival's 25-year history. From the beginning, participating in the ANTI festival has been an experience that revolutionizes thinking and perceptions of art and the world. The artistic program of the anniversary year explores seeing and presenting differently and brings out perspectives on the festival's history and the present moment.
Kuopion mediataidefestarit | Kuopio Media Art Festivals 19–25 October. is a new event implemented by KUMMA, Kuopio Artists Association ArsLibera, Muu ry and Photo and Media Art Association Valmedry. During the festival, KUMMA, GalleriA and Galleria Ars Libera will transform into spaces where lights, sounds, installations, videos, animations and interactive works will tickle the senses of visitors. In addition, media art will be presented at city screenings and at Kino Kuvakukko. Events and workshops will allow you to explore media as an art medium, and also create works yourself.
Valoilmiö | Light phenomenon 7.10. is an event presenting art and special lighting objects of the Savilahti Light Plan, which is organized annually in the Savilahti area. It is intended for everyone interested in the Savilahti area, art, lighting, design and architecture.
